To re-size a kit , you can set your printer to print the kit bigger or smaller by percentage depending on what scale or gauge you model in.

To get started on re-sizing, open your printer properties as shown below on my home printer (Bear in mind that there are hundreds of makes of printer and each one will be slightly different from mine).

Step 1. Click on “Page Setup”

Step 2. Click on “Scaled”

Step 3. Set “Scaling” to the percentage you want to either enlarge it or shrink it.

Shown below are the percentages you use to re-scale the kit.

To re-scale 3dk building kits to other scales,

simply follow the instructions below.

Re-size from OO Gauge (1:76 ) to HO Scale (1:87 ) reduce to 87%

Re-size from OO Gauge (1:76 ) to O Scale (1:43 ) enlarge to 176%

Re-size from OO Gauge (1:76 ) to O Scale (1:48) enlarge to 158%

For example: To resize a kit from 1:87 (HO Scale) to 1:76 (OO Gauge) you should divide 87 by 76 then multiply by 100 to get 114.473%
