Filezilla For Mac Os X 10.9

Firezilla works great on OSX 10.9 - you need to select "Anywhere" from the "Allow apps downloaded from:" section in the "Security & Privacy" portion of System Preferences. This was the case prior to Mavericks, btw.

Installation with the zip version is very simple as long as you know how to work with zip files and can manage general file and directory handling in Windows. Basically you just extract (unzip) the downloaded file to a folder on your disk, e.g. "C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client\" and then just start FileZilla with the filezilla.exe file afterwards. Please note that this action requires Elevation on Windows Vista/7/8! It might be a good idea to make a shortcut to this file on your desktop/start menu/quick launch so that you can easily access it.

If you're using GNU/Linux, you can also try using the precompiled binaries. After extracting the files to any location (location does not matter, FileZilla can detect its own installation prefix), you can start the program using the filezilla executable in the bin/ subdirectory. Please note that due to differences in distributions, the provided binaries might not work on your system.

Modern Mac systems (from Yosemite 10.10 onwards) will recognise a Bela with a recent image as a USB network device right away. For this to work on macos Catalina and above, ensure you have a Bela image v0.3.8a or above.Only if you are running 10.9 (Mavericks) or earlier you will need to install drivers by following the procedure below:

I needed to upgrade MySQL from 5.5.x to 5.6.x on my OS X server running OS X Mavericks (10.9) and I found a site that basically made it super painless. Nothing jumped out on my from Google regarding Mavericks, so this is really for that random person like me who was unsure how it should work.

on OS X 10.9 or later it says: "resource envelope is obsolete (version 1 signature)". So obviously it is version 1 signed. But even if it appears to have a deprecated signature it does not cause any harm when running the app on OS X 10.9 (or later).
